Palestinian-American Adolescent Released After 270 Days in Israel's Detention

A American-Palestinian teenager after completing nine months in Israel's custody absent formal charges gained freedom.
Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 at the time of his arrest in February within the occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida under suspicion of rock throwing against settlement residents, which he previously denied.

American authorities said it would continue to offer diplomatic assistance to Mohammed's family.

Several congressional representatives had signed a letter to US authorities and the White House, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.
Mr Ibrahim, with four children operating an ice cream shop in Florida, had earlier stated his child admitted guilt about rock throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.
There were no visits or communicated with his son since February, receiving updates exclusively regarding the treatment through judicial records.
Mohammed was held absent formal charges within Ofer penitentiary throughout the occupied territory.
Additionally housing adult prisoners, including individuals found guilty of serious terrorism offences including killings.
