The Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Boldly Introduces the Latest Lady Loki Costume
While some may dismiss Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, creator NetEase earns credit for discovering creative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty audience. Enter Lady Loki, a completely new skin for the current Strategist hero Loki, providing players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Norse deity.
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Despite earlier fan speculation, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a complete reskin of Loki the character, complete with fresh voiceover work. Judging by the official preview, Lady Loki retains all of Loki's core powers: his projectile attack, Deception, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her new appearance, tailored to appeal to an segment of fans more than ready to part with their Lattice.
A Look and Sound in Action
Here is a glimpse at Lady Loki in action, along with a taste of her VO, courtesy of voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott also voices Magik in Marvel Rivals.
Her dialogue and visual flair bring a fresh dynamic to the familiar kit.
A Gateway to Future Skins
With NetEase has broken the seal with this gender-bent skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is already considering future possibilities. Popular ideas now range from:
- The character Gwenpool as the forthcoming Deadpool.
- Thor's alter ego Jane Foster as Thor.
- Spider-Gwen as Spider-Woman.
The big question is: Does NetEase have the courage to deliver more obscure variants, such as former hero Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on fan demand!

The Lady Loki skin will be available in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
